Nssf Sacco is a deposit taking as well as a Co-operative Society with various financial services offered to its members.
These services are as follows:-
- Salary pay point and FOSA accounts.
- Banker's Cheques.
- Saccolink ATM Card which is VISA branded.
- Mobile Banking Services.
- Fixed as well as Call Deposit Accounts.
- Co-op Bank Agency.
- Equity Bank Agency.
- KCB Bank Agency.
- Insurance Agency for our members' insurance needs (Through our Nassefu insurance Agency).
- Organized SACCO trips both locally and overseas for the SACCO members.
- Credit facilities to members for development, emergency etc.
- Dividend payouts towards investing shares deposits in the SACCO.
Savings Account.
The Sacco operates various Savings accounts for our members.
Charges per withdrawal over the counter is at Kshs. 120.00 and Kshs. 36.00 via the Co-operative Bank ATM.
Charges for the Co-operative Bank Agency depends on the amount withdrawn which is available at the Agency.
Jumbo Savings account ives you access to mobile banking for your flexible banking needs.
Bankers Cheques.
FOSA provides Banker's Cheques to members at a cost of Kshs. 120.00 per leaf. This can be applied for at the FOSA office with a form and a member gets the Cheque in the shortest time possible.
Third Party Clearance of Cheques.
This service assists members clear cheques paid by institutions and individuals at a competitive price of Kshs. 330.00 per transaction.
Salary Processing.
This service is offered to members who wish to have their salaries paid through the Sacco FOSA account (Jumbo Account). The employer channels the salary payment cheques through Sacco Bank Account and the Society in turn credits the funds to the Member’s account.
Salary processing is charged Kshs. 200.00 per transaction.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
FOSA account holders are able to transfer funds from any of their FOSA accounts in the Society to any Commercial Bank account of their choice at a cost of Kshs. 400.00 per transaction. This is usually initiated in the morning everyday so that the members Bank account are credited in time.
Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS).
FOSA account holders are able to transfer funds from any of their FOSA accounts in the Society to any Commercial Bank account of their choice at a cost of Kshs. 800.00 per transaction.
SACCOLINK CARD
The Sacco operates an SACCOLINK card facility to add on the many channels of funds access to the members with FOSA accounts. Just like Commercial Banks, the ATM cards are VISA branded and work on all Co-operative Bank ATM vending machines at a cost of Kshs. 50 per transaction and Kshs 200 per transaction for other banks.
These cards are also POS vendor compatible meaning you can shop with it in supermarkets as well as any PDQ acceptable business or VISA branded shops, hotel expenses, fuel e.t.c.
Safety of Members deposits.
All Members' Deposits in FOSA accounts are safe an insured.
The Government has a regulatory body for deposit taking Saccos known as SASRA (Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority) the Authority makes sure the deposit taking Saccos adhere to rules and regulations to safeguard members funds. Nssf Sacco Limited is a SASRA licensed SACCO.
Mobile Banking Services.
The Sacco operates a Mobile Banking service as part of easy access to members funds in the SACCO as well as other additional Services such as paying Loans, transfering shares as well as withdrawing funds from FOSA accout to MPesa accounts. This service is provided automatically with the Jumbo savings account upon registration and approval.
Co-op Bank Agency.
At the Fosa banking hall, the Sacco operates a Co-operative Bank Agency where all members and customers can perform minimal banking activities with the Sacco such as deposits and withdrawal of funds to Co-operative Bank account holders. The service requires the customer to produce a Co-operative Bank ATM and national ID to transact.
Equity Bank Agency.
The Sacco also operates an Equity Bank Agency for Equity Bank holders. One can deposit as well as withdraw from the agency by simply visiting the Sacco FOSA halls.
KCB Bank Agency.
The Sacco also operates an KCB Bank Agency for KCB Bank account holders. One can deposit as well as withdraw from the agency by simply visiting the Sacco FOSA halls.
Sacco Holiday Trips.
The Sacco organizes annual holiday trips to its members at affordable rate. The member needs to open a Johari Holiday Account at the FOSA where he/she can be saving every month towards these trips. The trips go as far as Dubai, Thailand and as close as Mombasa and Maasai Mara. These trips helps members save as well as bond and network with other people around the work and enjoy site seeing as well as making memories.
